Just the mention of the name "Cobra" evokes performance. And if you're
knowledgeable enough to understand "Shelby", the vision quickly becomes
"ultimate performance" With only 998 ever built, the car has become a
museum piece rather than a daily driver. But many still wanted this little
corner of history, some just wanted a fun car.
Over the years, many replica cars manufacturers have come and gone. Our
heritage is rooted in this. Some manufacturers have excelled in vehicles,
marketing and customer service. But it is rare when all three are embodied in
one. We found this in Hurricane Motorsports
This site is a repository and registry of replica cars produced by Hurricane
Motorsports.
Our mission is to share info on the brand and perpetuate the history of the
original, both the car and the replica.
- HM1002 - #98 Car
- Most owners are very familiar with this car. Manufactured by
Hurricane Motorsports, Lees Summit, MO in Jan, 2005, it was assembled and
completed by Dean Lampe of Centralia, IL. The car found its way back to
Hurricane and became its signature vehicle. Many owners took their first
ride, at least their first Hurricane replica ride in this car.

- Registry
- 122 HM replicas were produced in Lees Summit. Make sure
your build is registered and status updated
- Builder's Sites
- Some builders have documented their cars, thru blogs or
websites. Each is its own style and contribution to both the hobby
and the brand.
